July COVID Update

July 26, 2020 Update We went back up to McKinleyville to help Allie out while Jordan is gone and to complete close the door on Fox Farm.  The adventure in traveling with COVID is that very few bathrooms are open.  Blessedly the Rest Stops are open but even McDonalds are closed – WTF.  I found on in an IN and OUT in Salinas  – thank you lord.  I will be traveling with a mason jar and wipes, toilet paper and a trash bag from now on – OY FREAKING VEY!

Beth's COVID Experiences - so I don't forget!

Beth’s Covid Experiences So Far….. Covid19 came out of nowhere early in 2020  and stayed.  We thought it was a  passing fad and would fade out, but no, we still have the nasty bugger.  Now it’s the end of June and we still have it and it’s worse than ever.  We are sheltering in place as much as possible and wearing masks everywhere.  Update on July – cases are spiraling out of control we don’t know where this ends! I started off the year with a bang by getting a squamous cell sarcoma on my forehead. I had to have MOHS to remove the cancerous tissue layer by layer and luckily I only had to endure one round.  Somehow I managed to squeeze my back surgery in on February 14, 2020 just before everything was locked down tight and that was a blessing because I was really hurting.  I had 3 epidurals before I had had enough and consented to surgery.
